TSN has had a hate on for Winnipeg all season. Meanwhile they bumped the Oilers — who currently have 8 fewer wins, 7 more losses and 15 fewer points than the Jets (who sit at no. 5) — up from 12 to 3 in the final reg. season ranking.
I should add that one TSN personality — colour commentator Craig Button — has touted the Jets all year. He alone said this would be the Jets' year to win the Stanley Cup.
