Congratulations to Team Canada — lead Briane Mielleur, second Shannon Birchard, third Val Sweeting, skip Kerri Einarson — on defending their Scotties curling title last Sunday. The team is based near my old stomping grounds of Gimli, Manitoba. You did your province proud.
