Paul Faraci, the Winnipegger who invented Pizza Pops, has died. Word is he’ll be sent off in a large pastry shell with pinched edges and cremated in a toaster.

  1. Not sure Pizza Pops sell in the U.S., but they are popular in Canada. Until this week, I had no idea they were created in my home town. RIP Mr. Faruci.

  2. You post pictures of girls all the time. Why not a picture of Pizza Pops? I never heard of them.

  3. Invented in 1960, sold later to Pillsbury (General Foods) in the 80's.

  4. Well, that's a better send off than having a popper's funeral.
