An ancient fortress has been found deep in Turkey’s Lake Van. Archeologists say it dates back centuries, to a time the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last won the Grey Cup.

  1. The archeologists which I heard said that it dates back to an even more ancient age, to a time the Toronto Maple Leafs last won the Stanley Cup.

    1. Anything to deflect criticism from the Bombers, eh Mr. T? ... Still drinking their Kool-aid. ... There are endless long-time-no-championship Leafs jokes here. Decided to change it up and dovetail this with the Grey Cup.

  2. Their are certainly longer droughts in pro sports. But for those who don't know, the Bombers compete in a nine-team league — and just an 8-team league for a large part of their title drought.
