In CFL news, Edmonton sacked GM Ed Hervey after a 40-32 record, three
playoff appearances and one Grey Cup win. In Winnipeg they’d have made
him premier.
I think it all started when the Eskimos — always a think-they-are-better-than-the-league team (ala the Patriots) — refused a league order to be miked up. That upset TV sponsors.
Firing him seems a bit harsh! Hope he was wearing that cup.
