The CFL admits they blew a last-minute call that stopped a Winnipeg drive and all but handed the win to Calgary. It’s nice the defending Grey Cup champs and perennial powerhouse Stampeders finally got the help they needed.
Too true Gary. This one was especially egregious because on the play (a 3rd down gamble) the receiver checked with the linesman first and was told he was lined up properly. The Bombers get the first down, and seconds later the same linesman calls the receiver for not being on the line. WTF?
And the rich get richer?
