Hall of Fame blue-liner Allan Stanley, a member of Toronto’s last championship team in 1967, died recently. More bad news for Leafs fans, the Stanley curse lives on.
I believe Allan Stanley played on all four Leaf cup winners in the Sixties. When they traded him he joked (he said he was joking) they'd never win another Cup without him. So far they haven't.
