This is from a cartoon series I was fortunate enough to have appear in Winnipeg Community papers around 1988. I wrote the jokes and Charles Turko - a wonderfully talented cartoonist - would come up with the illustration. I love how he captured Santa's elves on their break.

Very good. Not surprisingly, the sentiments remain the same, 24 years later!
