Dolphin's quarterback
Chad Pennington will take a leave of absence from football this year after injuring his knee in a pick-up basketball game. It's hard to say what he's more worried about: that he won't be able to return to the NFL, or that nobody will notice he's gone.
I think he'll maintain his anonymity, unless you give him too much ink! I didn't know much about Chad but came across this bit of trivia recently: "Pennington is also the NFL's all-time leader in career completion percentage at 66.0%, among quarterbacks with at least 1,500 pass attempts."
ReplyDeleteGreat stat Gary. I would never have guessed.
