It wasn't long ago there was excitement around Canada's rising men's and women's tennis stars — Andreescu, Fernandez, Shapavalov and Auger-Aliassime. These days most people only give them 50/50 odds if they're playing a groundskeeper.
Our tennis has been in a bit of a funk lately, with injuries or poor play playing a part. Perhaps Wimbledon can turn things around.
