One of my friends got into a pickup game with Lanier. I asked him what it was like. He said, "Lanier was really big and really strong. One of his teammates tried to go over Lanier for a rebound. Lanier took down the rebound and started up court with the guy still on his back. Almost made it to midcourt before he fell off. Lanier said he didn't call a foul because he wasn't sure when the guy fell on him." Chad
I've no interest in the playoffs or the draft. But speaking of the NBA, was sad to read of Bob Lanier's passing. He was one of the good guys.

Lanier's death was a sad note. He was a fabulous player.
