February in Winnipeg started with windchill temperatures dipping to the mid -40s C. Even that didn't feel as cold in the 'Peg as the Jets trading away Patrik Laine.
It was less a stunner when it happened as rumours started at season's start that Laine was unhappy being on the 2nd line and wanted out. Sad to local hockey fans. And -40 is when Fahrenheit and Celsius meet.
That trade must've been a stunner!
ReplyDelete-40 on either scale is a real stunner!
