The upcoming CFL season will
be Winnipeg’s 29th without a Grey Cup, the league’s longest championship
drought. Maybe those helmets should sport an L instead of a W?
Purple, but the Huskies are fine. The Mariners are the big losers - since they hatched in 77, no titles, no WS appearances. Last playoff appearance, 2001.
That is pretty grim indeed. Was 2001 when they had a gazillion wins? On the bright side, they are competing against a lot more teams than the pathetic Bombers, who play in a 9-team league.
Ouch, I can feel the pain!
ReplyDeleteThat right. The Washington Huskies also have the big W. Blue and gold uni too, right?

DeleteBoth are lamentable records for sure.
