Forgot to add, I think you're going to be right about Joey's greatness. Right now, I think Larry Walker is at the top of the list since he was so good for so long...among everyday players. But since Ferguson Jenkins is in the HOF, he's got to be #1. Lots of great pitchers have come and gone since Fergie, but he's the last to record 6 straight 20-win seasons, all with the usually mediocre Cubs.
Arguably, perhaps the finest MLB player Canada has produced. Doesn't get the recognition he deserves playing in obscurity for a bad team.
