Thanks Kelly. It is so very tragic. I went to catch up on sports yesterday, and it all seemed so trivial, I stopped. Ended up with tears in my eyes reading about some of the young men whose lives were so suddenly lost.
The Humboldt Broncos had a winning tradition in Junior "A" Hockey, taking the Anavet Cup (Manitoba-Saskatchewan championship; discontinued after 2012) 7 times - tied for the most. This includes playinging in 4 of the last six, winning the last three times. The last Manitoba team to beat Humboldt was my local Selkirk Steelers –– and it took quadruple overtime in game 7 to do it!
Perfect quote RJ. Such a tragedy. Interesting article about how involved these teams are with their communities.

My heart goes out to the Humboldt community. This hits home. May I always drive safe.
