I did mean the latter, but I'm glad to see your Jets win. Just doesn't seem right that a Canadian team isn't in the hunt every year...maybe the Jets and Leafs can meet in the finals.
There's a more popular term than J-birds, but since this is a family setting, the bird is the word.
And yes, I'm always ok and appreciative of your cheery pictures!
The No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks take on No. 1 Villanova today in the final four. (Don't tell Gary this picture is here.)
ReplyDeleteI take it Gary doesn't like the Jayhawks. LOL. I'm rooting for Sister Jean to win it all. Go Ramblers.
ReplyDeleteHe is all for K State, so the Jayhawks are arch rivals.
DeleteI see NOTHING! Nice that some Wildcats took the J-birds out, rather convincingly!
ReplyDeleteI noticed that Manitoba won again!
You and Sargent Schultz eh? I thought you'd be pleased at the J-bird ouster.
DeleteAnd yes, my Jets beat the Leafs in Toronto. The only Canadian teams in the playoffs this year.
DeleteOr did you mean M (subbing Manitoba in for Michigan?)

Ironic that in this, the year of upsets, the two teams I heard picked most often to win it all are meeting in the final.
DeleteRJ, I can't figure out if you're a Kansas basketball fan or that you just like their cheerleaders.
ReplyDeleteChad
Neither. No horses in this race at all. But I've tried to have one pic from different teams (though not all) from the tourney.
DeleteAnswering my own question: the team is done but I'll bet the cheerleaders are still around.
ReplyDeleteChad
Gary has got to be okay with that.
I am confident he is.
