I really like this photo; how it captures the moment — the physical skill, the technique, the timing, and the trust to hold your pose (and nerve) in space.
Not me Zola, that's for sure. My daughter was into competitive cheerleading in a big way. Passionate, driven, big on teamwork and fit as a fiddle. She often came home with a new bump or bruise from a fall, but would be right back at it next day. As you say: athletic and brave. ... And it kept her out of trouble.
