Sports Deke Reprise:
Flames defenceman Dennis Wideman said his cross-check knockdown of an unsuspecting ref wasn’t intentional. I’ve seen zebras felled by lions that looked more accidental.

    I can't see how anyone who watches the footage can argue he "didn't see the ref." C'mon man!
