In BCHL hockey, the Trail Smoke Eaters thumped the Surrey Eagles 19-3. It looked like it would end 17-3, but Trail added a 2-point convert.

    Surrey beat Trail two weeks later, so it was just a very bad game that night. They gave up 4 short-handed goals as part of the 19 surrendered.
