The NBA commissioner reportedly had a hand in Jerry Colangelo stepping in to manage the 76ers basketball operations and lead them out of the gloom. This is one dark cloud that has a Silver hiring.

    The Sixers have been so bad for so long, NBA owners asked the league to do something.
