France’s Alize Cornet was facing match point against Caroline Wozniacki at the Swedish Open when she ran to her chair to shut off her ringing mobile phone. Cornet then came back to win that game.

This is what’s known as being saved by the cell.

    I will post another version of this joke (I wrestled with two) a little later. Same idea, just delivered differently. If you want, let me know which version you like better.... These are the standard decisions all sports humourists go through on many a joke.

    I vote for the July 16 version. They're both good, but I like the "Whew" better than "This is what's known..."

    Thanks for the feedback Gary. I lean toward the other too. That said, a couple papers picked up this version, so as you say, both work.
