A 1 1/2- m long blue shark was caught in the Gaspe region of the St. Lawrence River. A Fisheries spokesperson said it is extremely rare for a blue shark to go that far in the St. Lawerence, though not nearly as rare as a San Jose Shark going far in the playoffs.
