The Pittsburgh Pirates got rid of their team moustaches in the midst of their recent double-digit losing streak.

It's just as well; it's not like they've been losing by a whisker.

  1. Oh no, not their lucky moustaches! It is a wonder how that once proud franchise can't even buy a winning season these days. Wait, they don't play hockey in Toronto in the winter, do they?

  2. Too true what you say Gary about it being a once proud franchise. They have not had a winning season since 1992; the longest streak of the four major leagues. Pretty sad.
