Ronald Howes, the inventor of the Easy-Bake Oven, died recently at the age of 83. The Easy-Bake was introduced a few years before the Toronto Maple Leafs last won the Stanley Cup. Since then, both have run on the same principle: keep replacing one dim bulb with another hoping the product won't be half-baked.
