The NHL suspended play when the lights went out halfway through a New Jersey Devils home game. If it had been a Nets home game it probably wouldn't have been noticed; by halftime fans usually have their eyes closed.

    or maybe ... by halftime at a Nets game most of the fans would have already gone home. Oh, those poor Nets, they've even surpassed the sad Leafs.
