reports a man wasn’t allowed to pay a parking ticket in Pennsylvania
with 2,500 pennies because it was against the law. So there’s one less
use for CFL bonuses.
Does the CFL pay an hourly rate? (Interesting that a US city has outlawed the use of a coin that is legal tender. Would be funny if the man sued the city and won, then the city paid him off with pennies.)
According to the article, the city cited a U.S. Federal statute. Go Figure. ... And no more pennies at all now in Canada; it all gets rounded to the nickel. So CFL vets better use 'em quick.
